Great Dishwasher and some tips
My Family had the plastic tub version of this dishwasher in our rental and we loved it. Purchased the stainless steel tub version when we bought a home and we love it. Very Quiet, washes dishes well, and the unit has lots of room for multiple meals from a family of 4. BTW: I am an appliance repair man with 16 years experience and training from most major manufacturers.

There are five things to help your dishwasher to operate at its peak performance...

1. Run your hot water at the sink until it comes out steaming hot. All dishwashers do heat water but due to federal regulation the wattage of heaters in newer dishwashers is relatively low. Where older dishwashers may of heated water in a dishwasher within 30-40 minutes of starting, newer dishwashers heat water at approx 1 degree per minute and are trying to achieve a maximum of 145-156 degrees Fahrenheit. Most manufacturers state in the owner's manual a minimum incoming temperature of 120 degrees Fahrenheit from...

Very happy with purchase & performance
After researching options and given our budget we are very happy with the model and options of the dishwasher. The American dishwasher is quiet and easy to operate. IT CLEANS DISHES and the 1 hour wash option is a great option. The StainlessSteel look is great for our updated kitchen. If you are handy, you can self install this dishwasher. We are the type of family that just wants to put our dishes in the dishwasher and go. This dishwasher has options like power scrub for pots, baked on pans and a delay wash with a food disposal. If you are on a budget and want a nice looking dishwasher that cleans dishes and is quiet. Consider this dishwasher!

pleasant surprise
I actually love this dishwasher! I had two nine year old Bosch dishwashers, one of which failed for the third time. I spent two months investigating replacements, since I expected that somewhere down the line the other Bosch would also need replacement. A friend had just installed a new kitchenaid, and raved about it. I was concerned about the noise, and the cleaning power. Well, this dishwasher cleans far better than my current dishwasher I dont rinse any dishes, just scrape off the solids., and while it is supposed to be louder, when you sit at the kitchen table, you can't tell which dishwasher is running, the lower Db Bosch, or the KA. The other advantage is that it is made for US dishes, and holds a lot more. It holds at least double the glasses on the top rack, and there is no filter to clean. I've had it four months, and so far its a real winner.

The ProScrub ® Option is an ideal solution for casserole dishes and other large platters that require concentrated cleaning of carmelized or baked-on messes. The wash system delivers better results (combined wash and dry results of leading premium brands' highest MSRP models; dry testing conducted without rinse aid).

  • The ProScrub(R) Option helps eliminate soaking or pre-scrubbing by removing stubborn messes like seared or baked-on foods.
  • Fully integrated console forms clean lines and integrates with other appliances by concealing the control panel.
  • Shelves on either side of the upper rack that fold down to accommodate items such as cups. Each shelf includes molded indents to keep stemware in place.
  • The Heat Dry option delivers faster and more complete drying by activating a recessed heating element during the drying cycle.
  • Premium adjusters make it easy to raise or lower the upper rack for optimal loading space, and the SatinGlide(R) System allows the rack to move almost effortlessly.
